Companies that are engaged in the betting business can have difficult times. A message was sent to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin with a recommendation to put the bookmaking on a par with the casino. The letter was written by the director of ISIRGI JSC Maxim Petunin.
This information is transmitted by the RT edition with reference to the letter, a copy of which is at the disposal of the editorial office. In the letter, the director of the Institute writes that the bookmaking does not differ from the casino in its negative impact on the player and can lead to dependence on gambling, mental problems and the risk of losing financial support. Nevertheless, bookmakers are widely represented throughout the Russian Federation, and bets are actively accepted both offline and online. At the same time, five special gambling zones have been organized for the casino, which is actually banned almost throughout the entire territory of the Russian Federation.
To equalize the two identical, according to the expert, phenomena from the world of gambling, Mikhail Petunin asks to place betting offices in special gambling zones and limit the possibility of online betting.
