The French football club Lyon will transfer € 300 thousand to combat the coronavirus pandemic, the club said in an official statement.
Part of the allocated funds (€ 100 thousand) will be used to finance clinical research projects conducted by research doctors of the Lyon public hospital system.
The remaining € 200 thousand the club will use to supply hospitals with medical equipment and supplies, as well as to provide assistance to poor citizens.
