Wisconsin Governor Tony Ivers and the Oneida Indian tribe signed a gambling agreement.
According to the document, in this state it is allowed to place sports bets in casinos owned by Oneida and related places.
In fact, the Indians received the exclusive right to betting. The agreement will make sports betting legal entertainment in Wisconsin, Governor Ivers said.
Representatives of the Oneida tribe, which received a monopoly on sports betting in the state, promised to attract as many clients as possible who would bring their money to the Indians. And they promised to expand their gambling business in the future.
However, there is only one bureaucratic procedure left – the agreement must be agreed (or vice versa) by the federal authorities by the end of the summer of 2021. If they drag out the deadlines, the document will automatically enter into force.
