The CIES Football Observatory research team analyzed the teams of European football clubs and calculated the total cost of their players.
According to the research the most expensive football team in Europe is Liverpool, where all players are estimated at 1.27 billion pounds.
In second place with a very small margin is Manchester City – 1.24 billion.
Next are two Spanish giants: Barcelona – 1.06 billion, Real – 1 billion.
In fifth and sixth places there are again English clubs: Manchester United and Chelsea, where the cost of players is estimated at 917 million.
Following them Paris Saint-Germain – 890 million, Atletico – 760 million, Tottenham – 715 million, Juventus – 712 million.
