A six-time gold bracelet winner, a member of the Poker Hall of Fame and one of the best players in the world, Daniel Negreanu completed his “titleless” session that lasted eight years.
The last time he won the cup on October 24, 2013 at the High Roller at WSOP Europe. Since then, he has hit the prize money 144 times, earned $22,000,000, but has not been able to win a single tournament, although he went out against opponents heads-up nine times.
On June 13th, 2,819 days later, Daniel, also known as “KidPoker”, finally won the long-awaited trophy for the PokerGO Cup Series. He outplayed 35 opponents in the $50,000 tournament and received $700,000 for the championship.
The final day began with 5-max, when Ali Imsirovic, David Coleman, Alex Foxen and Sergi Reishah were at the table with Negreanu – but he was up.
