Online casino games manufacturer Red Tiger has expanded its presence in Italy, recently unveiling a portfolio of online slots in partnership with local industry leader Lottomatica.
As part of a supply agreement between the studio, a major online casino and a sports betting operator, the Lottomatica gaming platform now offers a selection of the most popular Red Tiger games.
The agreement applies to such slots:
- Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, the hugely popular Megaways version of NetEnt’s classic Gonzo’s Quest,
- Dragon’s Fire Megaways,
- Piggy Riches Megaways,
- Dragon’s Luck,
- Mystery Reels.
This initial slot machine package will be followed by the integration of other games from the famous Red Tiger portfolio onto the Lottomatica platform. The Italian operator’s clients will also have access to the studio’s daily and progressive jackpots.
About Red Tiger
Red Tiger is a game development specialist who boasts an award-winning portfolio of original online slots and a flexible toolbox for operators offering advanced opportunities to increase profits and retention. The studio was founded in 2014 by a team of industry experts, each with a proven track record of creating casino games in Europe and Asia.
In 2019, the studio became part of Swedish online slots expert NetEnt, and at the end of last year, Evolution, a live casino specialist, acquired the latter for Red Tiger to join the expanded group.
Online gambling mergers and acquisitions
Lottomatica itself has recently become part of an ongoing M&A trend in the gambling industry. Last December, news broke that the gambling company Gamenet, with the support of the American firm Apollo Global Management, would acquire Lottomatica from its former owner IGT for 1.1 billion euros. The deal was closed in May.
At the time, Gamenet said it would do its utmost to make the new Lottomatica the market leader in Italy’s regulated gambling business.
